A provenance ledger by FileChain enables to track end-to-end physical goods or digital assets with immutable documentation of provenance and automated supplier coordination across a shared jointly-owned network.

The platform can help streamline the onboarding of all participants (business actors, public actors) as well as the identity management and true identification of any physical or digital asset tracked through a full life-cycle.

The certified origin and overall chain of custody for any supervised asset can be achieved with a thin "overlay" deployment on top of all existing IT systems from all participants for rapid integration into production without disruption.

Any existing supply chain deployment today suffers from fundamental friction points because participants can not fully trust any common repository as sensitive data may be shared with unintended parties and costly data mistmatch & reconciliation is too often the norm.

A provenance ledger by FileChain, on the other hand, "fuses" the storage layer with the access-control layer irrefutably (by cryptography).
